We've already tuned the chance a bit (up) and will keep watching how much it drops and tune it again if needed

Just ignore the christmas drops, the rest should be OK (and I've already stopped christmas drops)

Hi, timing of some events is related somehow to real world (Christmass event, Easter event, ...) and we make some events also on random base, depending mostly on how much time we currently have and how much time passed since last event I hope @Jorn won't get angry if I tell you that he's currently preparing a brand new event that will (if we manage to prepare and test it in time) start on Monday!
