That's actually a good idea. My only concern would be people that spam the trade chat knowing its global chat. As a consequence people will just disable the trade chat and then we don't have a channel which we don't really use.

A player sees that someone is selling items on L2Shrine or you see it yourself on max cheaters. Main form of contact is normally skype. You make contact and arrange meeting in game. Find the play and all related accounts and ban them. If they are listing there items for sale for real money its intent to sell and is still punishable imo. Nothing really inconclusive.

Why don't you keep logs of private chats? No RTM person is stupid enough to talk in trade, general chat, global chat. The logs are not there to spy on people its there to protect the players and act as proof if and when required. @Salee 100% agree RTM is cancer which kills every game. Umm you ban them on here or max cheaters. Create a reward system for people to report botters and RTM traders. People won't want to play on a server where you are allowing RTM even mid and high rates don't allow that. Put that as a feature on your website that RTM is allowed and see how many players you get.
