  1. Games like Path of Exile have shown that seasonal leagues are successful. I could totally see Shrine pulling something like that off. PoE moves all characters from seasonal leagues to the standard league when the season is over, then the next league starts. Each league has a unique twist to it, but it's the same base game. Standard league benefits and grows with content from the unique leagues, leagues remain competitive and a scarcity of items makes items desirable. I think you should be careful creating additional servers if they're identical to the base server, since they come wit
  2. The reason caster are good to start with, is because the buffs provided by the in-game helper increases their damage AND cast speed. It helps a lot. The fighters don't get a damage increase. aVx's suggestion is good too, it's actually quite a unique class, but you'll be using your wolf a lot. If you're into using a pet, go for it. Archers are another option, but they're not that great without extra buffs. They're also expensive. Buffs are immensely good in this game, but that doesn't mean you can't play without them. You're new, just make whichever class you think sounds fun, an
  3. Come play with me, I'm not in a clan. You can favor me all you want, I won't tell anyone!
  4. If you create a wizard to start off, you'll be fine. They don't need more buffs than those supplied by the newbie buffers you can find in every city. Give it a try, just go kill some stuff. It's pretty neat.

Cool! If anyone have some neat interface mods, I'd really like to see them. Thanks
  6. Ah, I see.. Thanks. I hope the DC's are fixed, I'll give it a try now. EDIT: It seems a lot better now. Thanks for the help.
  7. It's worse now than it was before. Clean install of epilogue (downloaded from l2shrine.com), downloaded l2shrine launcher and placed it in the root install folder. I'm able to login, but I can't party with my own characters, and every time I move or send an action to the server (invite, trade etc), I get a system error message ingame. Some of the text is also completely gone. I took a screenshot of the "exit game" prompt. What should I do when a clean install doesn't help? Thanks
  8. I did not, I just reinstalled everything. I'll give it a go again.
  9. I see, it just never happened before this update. I wonder what it could be then.
  10. Sometimes more often, some times less. But I get kicked out on both characters twice per buff duration. Not sure why, this started happening after Epilogue update. Am I the only one? Cheers!
  11. I'm curious about this also. I started recently, am I worse off for not waiting for the new update?
