This is a really good way to keep the players informed about when they should come back to the forums, server etc. Currently you have put it what time it starts but no end time Examples: Scheduled server restart. Yooyoo 20 Posted September 22, 2016 Report Share Posted September 22, 2016 Well for the first downtime Jorn did it and said donwtime 2 hours, but he maybe did not meet the schedule he planned so he probably just left next downtime without it. I haven't checked but I assume there is a announcement in game for this as well to notify players? Something along the lines of: 1st Announcement: Server will be going down for a scheduled restart in 30 minutes please log off in a safe area. 2nd Announcement: Server will be going down for a scheduled restart in 15 minutes please log off in a safe area. 3rd Announcement: Server will be going down for a scheduled restart in 10 minutes please log off in a safe area. 4th Announcement: Server will be going down for a scheduled restart in 5 minutes please log off in a safe area. 5th Announcement: Server will be going down for a scheduled restart in 1 minute please log off in a safe area. 6th Announcement: Server will be going down for a scheduled restart in 30 seconds please log off in a safe area. Emca 306 Posted September 23, 2016 Report Share Posted September 23, 2016 Currently, there's only 3 minute countdown - we should add this info to server info so players will know and will not go kill Tiat at 5:30 Also, there's one exception when there's no restart at Monday - if the server was restarted in last 3 days (crash, hotfix, ...), the scheduled restart does not happen (because it's not necessary) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
