Does the fishing shot quest interfere with other quest items? If I have this quest active, will other quest items drop less frequently, or it doesnt matter?

I have to set my chatwindows to my settings I had before I logged out.... And I mean by that the size of my window + the size of my health + target bar How can I keep the game from resetting it back to default?
